This weeks’ Bold Moves #22 Fearless Friday #11 is a throwback (or should I say “flashback,” so I can have the triple alliteration with Bold Moves Fearless Flashback Friday?) to episode five with Danika Brysha, because she was so kind as to give several options for which challenge to pick from! One was the one she actually did, to give up sugar for a week. The other was to write your biography each day, which was sort of echoed in the episode I did with Linda Mitchell’s perfect day challenge. And here’s this week’s – Bold Moves #22 Fearless Friday #11!
As always, you can choose to either listen to this brief podcast in the player below that’s embedded in this blog post, or you can listen on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or your favorite podcast app/player!
Before I get to this week’s challenge, I want to address last week’s challenge with Alan Harris, which was to either make a detailed plan to make one of your dreams come true, do something that you have been putting off that needs to get done, or both!
I tried to be an overachiever. As far as the things that I had been putting off, I decided that I would handle some invoicing I needed, manage some expense reporting, follow up with my agent about a few checks I was expecting, call about a question regarding my student loans, and call the DMV. I did the first three, and still plan to do the last two before the week’s over!
So embarrassing – for the second time, I got a kids book looking for the version for adults (calling it an “adult book” seems dirty)! I once purchased Stephen Covey’s “Seven Habits for Highly Effective…. Teens!” The principles still were great! Now I have “It’s All Too Much” for teens. At least this one’s a library book! I’m reading it per @chalenejohnson’s recommendation as a companion/American version of “The Life-Changing Art of Tidying Up,” and loving it! Getting rid of clutter physically and mentally to prepare for 2017! Also reading @daniellelaporte’s Fire Starter Sessions and loving it – writing my notes in that cute journal! What are you reading?
I also started reading the Fire Starter Sessions, by Danielle LaPorte* (a recommendation from Danika Brysha’s interview!), which asks you to sort of map things out – but guides you more into figuring out what exactly you want to do, first! I am about 100 pages in and adore it so far!
On to this week’s challenge! Please check out my instagram (which should be pretty apparent from the embedded picture above) to follow my little two-week mini gratitude journal! I already think of at least sixteen things before I get out of bed for which I’m thankful, so now I just have to find a way to share it online without making my instagram feed unattractive, haha.
If you haven’t already, please check out Monday’s episode, so you can find out how to win some cool prizes and get some great inspiration from Angela Wright! You may also want to check out Alan Harris’ interview episode and his #BoldMovesFearlessFriday episode, so you can better understand my explanation above, as well as Danika Brysha’s interview and challenge episodes, so you can understand why this is a throwback… err flashback! The crazy thing is, both of these two guests have made their careers involve paleo meal services!
That is a wild similarity between these two, and I have loved the variety of guests I’ve had so far – and I want to keep it up! So click here if you’d like to be interviewed, or if you want to nominate someone! And I’d love it, of course, if you subscribed to the podcast, left me a lovely review, and spread the word! <3
Stay tuned for Monday’s interview with Cory Zimmerman… It is OUTSTANDING!
