This week’s guest on Bold Moves Podcast Episode 217 Lynette Whiteman has made some very bold moves, and the best part about them is that they involve puppies! Lynette started a therapy dog program at her nonprofit with the purpose to visit with people who have dementia and their caregivers to brighten their lives. At first, Lynette’s board and staff thought she was nuts for creating this program with the possibility of insurance issues and “what ifs.” There was no program like this in the US, so it was breaking new ground. Lynette persevered and her organization is now going into their 10th year with 50 “volunteer” dogs and also have chapters in seven other states. Lynette followed her passion and has improved so many lives. Please enjoy Bold Moves Podcast Episode 217 Lynette Whiteman!
