This week’s guest on Bold Moves Podcast Episode 251 Amanda LaCount truly impressed me! Amanda has been training as a professional dancer for most of her life. Recently, she had a video go viral, and not for the reason you would think. Amanda has created her own movement called #breakingthestereotype, in order to help rid the stereotype of what people in the Professional Dance Industry look like. When her video went viral, people were shocked as Amanda is no what people believe dancers should look like, but she can dance like one of the best. Though not being the “traditional” dancer, Amanda has danced with Katy Perry, Meghan Trainor, on The Ellen Show, DWTS, The Voice and had her own National Dance Tour “Amanda LaCount Live”. She is making strides to reframe the image of what dance is, and how everybody can be a dancer’s body. Please enjoy Bold Moves Podcast Episode 251 Amanda LaCount!
