Who is ready for a slight challenge? Hopefully, you enjoyed Monday’s episode and learning about how Avery Breyer changed her life from being a pharmacist to investing in real estate using none of her own money, to later using her financial freedom and skills as an author and freelance SEO ghost writer to enable her to travel the world with her husband and two children, working remotely from her laptop. If you haven’t listened or watched yet, what are you waiting for? If you have, here it is – Bold Moves Podcast Episode 34 Fearless Fridays 17: Avery’s Challenge!
As always, you can choose to listen to any Fearless Fridays episode in the post where the player is embedded (see below) or on iTunes, Stitcher, or whatever podcast app you choose. The interviews are available both as audio in the same way the Friday episodes are, or also on YouTube. =)
I always like to share my results from the previous weeks challenges, and I am getting increasingly far behind and need to CHANGE that. It starts NOW!
Like last week, I still owe Neda’s Challenge and Derrick’s challenge, and I have started Jaimie’s, but only in a default sort of a way. I need to do it more intentionally, so that is my plan for now!
Now, I also owe from Rosanne & Madeline Stuart’s challenge, though not for lack of trying! Rosanne challenged listeners to say hi to the next five people you see who have disabilities. I have seen two people in wheelchairs since the challenge was issued, and in order to make the challenge happen, I would have had to make the situation pretty awkward and chase them down! But the challenge and corresponding interview have renewed the importance of the necessary attention and stop of isolation there is, so I assure you – it will be on my mind and I will follow through when appropriate!
For Avery’s challenge, I can’t wait to hear what you choose! I will be showing you mine sometime this week on Instagram – stay tuned! After a bit of thought, I worried that it wasn’t a very risky or challenging challenge, but then I remembered some statistics about the last time most adults have read a book, and realized that it is probably decently away from the edge of many people’s comfort zones, or at least normal behavior! I ALSO thought that perhaps on Friday the 13th, playing it SLIGHTLY safe was not the worst idea ever!
Also, don’t forget – Rosanne & Madeline Stuart’s giveaway is still going, as is their wine fundraiser*, and you can also still of course enter Avery’s giveaway to win one of her books!
