Happy Monday! I hope the second full weekend of 2017 treated you well! This week, I am sharing a chat that took me a bit down memory lane, with another fellow former-Milwaukeean in a similar field! I met Berni Xiong a few years back, when I did makeup for a charity fashion show she was walking in as a local celebrity! In this interview, she is so giving and honest, and it was a true joy to learn from her! I truly hope you enjoy Bold Moves Podcast Episode 35: Berni Xiong!
As usual, the Bold Moves Podcast Episode 35: Berni Xiong! is available in the player embedded below! You can also elect to watch the video version, here, or you can of course also search “Bold Moves” in your favorite podcast app, or click here to catch it on iTunes or Stitcher! Please subscribe, share this with your friends, and leave me nice ratings! 💜
I think Berni has some really valuable tough times that she shares right along with how to use those tough times to come out of them even stronger and more prepared to handle life and help others.

Because she is an author, of course you should check out her book*! Here is a link to buy it! As you see above, it is called “The Year of the Brave Bear: Speak Up. Stand Out. Change Your World.” Of course, though, she likes to share a couple of her favorites as well!
She recommends Finding Your Own North Star by Dr. Martha Beck, as well as The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz!
Of course, if you are interested in potentially winning her free intuitive reading, or you’re interested in her giving you that awesome ebook she mentioned, “The Solopreneur’s Guide For Shutting Up and Making Shit Happen,” click here to go to the special site she made just for us! You can also keep track of her there and be ready for her book launch coming in April and find out more about that!
If you were listening and caught my story about Neda, and don’t remember her episode, you can check Neda and her story out here!
There is no new wine fundraiser** for this week, but there’s still one week left of the EmbraceKulture wine fundraiser (from Rosanne and Madeline’s favorite charity). Cheers!
Lastly, if you or someone you know would like to be on the podcast, please fill out this form! You can either fill it out for yourself, or if you’d like to nominate someone else, you can put their information in! I would love to chat with anyone who has done some bold moves!
So, do you have any times in your life where you’ve felt like you were moving backward, but then used it as a learning experience? What would you ask Berni if you won her reading? Comment below!
xoxo,
Mandie

It means if you decide to order the book on Amazon by clicking that link, it will cost you the same price, but a small percentage will help me with the costs of my blog, and now my podcast, too! I had no idea that there were so many costs associated with podcasts until I decided to have one, but it is a labor of love that has proven totally worth it! Thank you in advance for your support! <3
