Let’s chat about goals, shall we? It’s March, so still at the beginning of 2017, but enough of the year is past where many people who were briefly focused on a new goal for 2017 are probably hanging on a thread, at best (read: the gym population is probably mostly back to the regulars who were there before)! Not this girl! I am still on it like a bonnet! Some of this is because of my Lenten observance being goal-oriented. Some of it is also likely attributed to the fringe benefits of meeting and interviewing so many incredible people for my podcast. Either way, I should share that two of my longterm goals are to be a writer and a speaker, so of course I am taking advantage of opportunities to be a guest on other podcasts and write for other outlets! So, here’s me Branching Out: Me As a Guest & Makeup Expert!
As I mentioned, I want to be booked for speaking engagements eventually. So naturally, when I was asked to be on Monday Morning Mimosas, I jumped at the opportunity! First of all – Monday Morning Mimosas with Mandie Mutchie is too fantastic of an alliteration to pass by! Second of all, I love mimosas. And third, of course, I want people to hear my story and hopefully come to my blog and check out what I’m doing – especially people who are ALREADY podcast listeners! They know what’s up! (If you’re here because of MMMimosas, holla in the comments!). I had such a blast. You can check it out here!
And here’s the glitter bottle of champagne I was talking about! If you’re dying for one the way I was, you can order it here*!
By now, you’ve most likely seen my makeup artistry. If not, take a look around my website! However, if you have, then it should come as no surprise to you that I am working to share my makeup expertise elsewhere, and got published again in a lovely article about that!
Here is an article called “Hair and Beauty Mistakes that Make You Look Older,” in which I am a contributor!
I was excited here, because I was quoted alongside some artists whose work I really admire, so I felt like I was in great company!
Oh, and if you’re like me and don’t love “slideshow” type articles and don’t care about the advice from the other artists, this link here will take you directly to the slide I am in!
Well, I really enjoyed Branching Out: Me As a Guest & Makeup Expert! I love writing and love speaking, so I was excited for those opportunities, and I am definitely open to new ones! That was my third time on a podcast other than my own (click here to check out the first & second times), and I can’t wait for the next time! This is now one of a handful of times where I’ve gotten the pleasure to write for other sites, both on makeup, or on other topics!
If you’re reading this and wishing I’d write for you or speak on your podcast, drop me a line! I’d love to chat or do a guest post or be a contributor to your article!
I hope you loved my little Branching Out: Me As a Guest & Makeup Expert! Stay tuned for a #BoldMovesFearlessFridays challenge coming soon!
xoxo,
Mandie

*This is an affiliate link, which means I do profit on the sale of the bottle. But guess what? It costs you the same. Even better is that every case of glitter bottles sold feeds 25 meals to a hungry child. There you go – you can drink from a sparkly bottle and feel great about it, because it’s for charity! Cheers!
