Hello! As a freelance model and makeup artist, I am often asked to sign paperwork, like W-9s and confidentiality agreements, and so on!
It used to be so brutal for me, especially when traveling, to have to go home, print out a document, sign it, and then scan it and send it back. I mean, come on!
Fortunately, since it is 2015, there are easier ways to go about it, and it’s an app called DocuSign!
Check it out:
I am an iphone user, so I don’t know how it works on other phones or formats, but here’s how it works.
When you click on the file in an email, you can download it and then click “open with,” and then you select DocuSign.
Then you’re able to make a signature on your touchscreen and save it, and you can just stick it onto the signature points!
There are also options of putting words, letters, etc. in empty fields, as well as checking checkboxes!
It’s a really intuitive app that I wish I would have found out about so long ago!
Please share this post with any freelancers or business people that you think would find it helpful! I seriously feel like it has changed my life, and I’ll take anything that can make life a little easier!
