It has been a while since I have updated my portfolio, so I figure it’s time! I have been doing a lot of fun work, I just haven’t been great at putting it up here! I am pretty good at posting on snapchat (I’ll drop my ghost code at the bottom of the page in case you’re interested! 😉) when I am working in progress, a little better at posting to my makeup artistry facebook page, less bad at posting them in the blog, and the worst at updating the actual portfolio section of my site (but now I know how), so here’s your Professional Silicon Valley Makeup Artist Portfolio Update!
Since it has been so long, I’m afraid this little professional Silicon Valley Makeup Artist Portfolio Update! is going to be out of order! Let’s start with one of my most fun & exciting jobs… I did makeup on Madeline Stuart! She is going to be on my podcast, along with her amazing mom, once they stop busily traveling the world together for Maddy’s career! Here’s the edited image I’ve seen from it so far!
I did makeup (including custom-making feather lashes), Madison Remeneski did hair, Cici Zeits was the photographer, the flower crown was made by Crystal Grunden-Bumpus, and Kyrstannie Rose Baca assisted!
Here’s a picture of the crew!
This was near the beginning of the shoot, before we put Miss Madeline Stuart into fairy mode! We did some fashion work beforehand. 😉
One thing that I think is cool is that shortly after Madeline posted this to her facebook page, it was put in this viral video on the “Now This!” facebook page. It’s right at the beginning! Over 610K views!
Should I post the video of Maddy and I dancing together, or is that unprofessional? Haha… Not exactly ideal for a post titled “Professional Silicon Valley Makeup Artist Portfolio Update!” I guess! I was excited when I saw that I was Madeline’s profile picture on her facebook like page! I felt so honored. She is such a sweetheart, and I loved working with her!
So that shoot was September 3rd, the day before my birthday! ON my actual birthday, I did a shoot for a local San Francisco fashion leather jacket company called Snacku. I have fallen absolutely in love with the designer Yoshimi (from our brief photoshoot meeting as well as now facebook and instagram friendships) as well as her amazing, high quality leather goods! Here are a few of my favorites from that shoot. You can see more by checking out Snacku’s website, their Facebook page, or my album from what I saw of the lookbook!
I did hair, makeup, and grooming on these lovely models!
I discovered that some of the work that I did back in June has made its way onto Instagram… I did a shoot in BEAUTIFUL Napa valley at the Sloan Estate for Le Pan Magazine. Here are the two images I’ve seen so far! (It can be tough to track down images)!
Again, I was responsible for hair, makeup, and grooming. 😉 I REALLY wanted a glass of wine. It smelled AMAZING. But, I am a professional and I wasn’t offered any. Stealing wine and then drinking on the job is not a good look – haha!
There are a couple jobs I did that I can’t find the videos for, but it was for a few tech and medical companies – one about artificial intelligence, another about fast-paced education in developing technology, and one was even shot to be in virtual reality. Here’s a view from the office in San Francisco of one of those companies!
I don’t often do “personal” types of jobs, but I did do wedding makeup on a girl who lived on my floor freshman year… How awesome!
I also got a friend ready for a wedding she was attending…
And I did makeup on a girl who wanted to take pictures for her thirtieth birthday for posterity. Isn’t that a cool idea? Here’s my favorite one!

One of the reasons that I remembered to update this post was that I saw my work today that I did a while ago but just came out, in Woman’s Day magazine. Here’s the cover – it’s the “Fighting Heroin Stories of Hope” article.
Here’s my page!
And, in case you haven’t figured it out, here’s my makeup and hair exactly!
Tracey was absolutely fascinating to meet, and her story was so inspiring. I absolutely adore the different people I get to meet and things I get to learn about on a day-to-day basis in my job!
The other reason I figured I should probably update was that I have several fun jobs coming up soon, including a couple Halloween clients, as well as a livestreaming event at Stanford. I don’t want to get TOO far behind! 😂
And thirdly, I was quoted as a beauty expert in this post, sharing what makeup brushes I LOVE. I figure I should make sure my blog SHOWS that I’m a makeup artist, and not just a podcaster, even though that has been my newest (and most time-consuming) endeavor! Oh, and if you want to try those aforementioned brushes, click here! The lovely folks at Bdellium let me give my friends 10% off all products for using my link!
Thank you so much for checking out my work! What job sounded most interesting and fun to you? Comment below!
Have you entered Monday’s giveaway yet? You should! I wish I could win!
P.S. I promised I’d share my snapcode. Here it is!
