After the game on Saturday, Charlo got to “shoot the ball” for the first time on an NBA court, to the cheers of some sweet fans. So grateful for these moments! 🏀 💜💚🦌

There are so many reasons why these pictures almost didn’t happen… I had a really rough day the day before with lots of tears. Charlo had music class before this event, and we were so late because of traffic, we missed the whole thing! We asked to join the class after, and that worked just fine!

Even though I wasn’t feeling the best mentally, and didn’t have the chance to plan cute matching outfits ahead or spend much time on my hair & makeup, I took advantage of the opportunity to have just a few pictures taken, and I love them so much.

So if you’re ever feeling a little hesitant to do something and an opportunity arises, take this as a reminder to take the little chance, ask for something you want, and/or be in a picture with someone you love, even if you’re not at your most confident. 🥰

Ahhhh Halloween. Who knew my love for dressing up would change my life forever? Here’s a brief history of Halloweens with Tommy and I - and now Charlo (with cameos by @quentinquarantinopup and Refugio - may he rest in peace)! I look forward to seeing what Charlo picks for us next year!

Last weekend, I had the pleasure to walk the runwa

Last weekend, I had the pleasure to walk the runway for a great celebration and a great cause - @lelaboutique’s charity runway show celebration! It was a blast getting back on the catwalk after a bit of a hiatus, especially to be on the runway with some of the “OG Milwaukee Models” and one of my besties, @nedastevic. The show was hosted by the fabulous Miss BJ Daniels, and featured fashions from @edessafashion and of course - Lela’s. The finale was another return to the runway - designs by Shanel Regier, inspired by Lela’s shop girl sign, which I was honored to model. I had an absolute blast, and as much as I love my main professional role as a makeup artist, I’ve definitely been once again bitten by the modeling bug!

Today we went to the China Lights at the Boerner Botanical Gardens, and it was so rad! If you’re in SE Wisconsin and either have a child or want to awe your inner child, I can’t recommend it enough! I hadn’t been there since going for a shoot over a decade ago, and now I want to go back just to see the plants without the incredible displays!

Had an amazing time being part of my best friend’s wedding yesterday! So happy for you, Danielle & Chris. Loved getting to spend some more fun time with some of my favorite people, too! 💜 #AllinOnAllmann

Saturday marked 12 years since I quit my stable da

Saturday marked 12 years since I quit my stable day job.

I’d been calling it my “quittaversary,” but Tommy pointed out yesterday that that makes me sound like a quitter, and that it’s the anniversary of me committing to my own goals. I like that better!

Since August 25 2011, I’ve been on a few tv shows (Steve Harvey & Good Morning America twice each, plus others), modeled for some cool catalogues and at some sweet locations from coast to coast, been in a commercial with Cindy Crawford, got a haircut valued at $900 in Beverly Hills by a legendary hairstylist, and got to be a background actress in Hulu’s first original content.

I’ve also seen my makeup work on a couple billboards, book covers, on tv, in lots of magazines (People 4x, Woman’s Day, Prevention, and more), on the Cover of Village Voice, gotten to do makeup or grooming on some rad celebrities like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Jerry Rice, Akon, Davante Adams, Summer Sanders, Joe Buck, Michelle Tafoya, Erin Andrews, Three 6 Mafia, De’Aaron Fox, Judd Apatow, Pete Holmes, and more…

I started my own podcast and released over 350 episodes and was interviewed as a guest on several podcasts myself.

Finally, I went beyond blogging and wrote two of my own books, ghostwrote a book for someone else, ghostwrote tons of blogs, got published in Forbes, Apple News, Huffington Post and lots of other publications (online and in print) and got some consistent clients pitching PR that are ongoing.

Sound on! Here’s some humpday humor from the most absurd dog in the Third Ward, who hangs out like this at the end of every walk because he doesn’t want to go home, even if we’ve walked three miles. This is likely because his walks are basically him going “Trick or Treating” and getting spoiled by local businesses and those choosing to dine outside. 🐶 😂🤦🏼‍♀️
