One fun thing about weddings is reminiscing about how the couple began. Here’s the story of how Tommy Brice and Mandie Mutchie met and fell in love!
Some of the things we chatted about need some visuals, so here we go!
Here is the first picture taken of us on the day we met. Not sure if this was before or after we met, though!
So ridiculous, isn’t it? That was the first of many Halloweens together. Check out this collage I did last year!
I don’t think I look like a mermaid in the top picture (red dress), but Tommy did. What do you think?
And then this past Halloween:
Over the years, there were so many important memories, like…
The day Tommy left to go to Arizona to work with the Milwaukee Brewers, when we showed that a Badger and a Golden Eagle can get along.
We look so young! (Especially Tommy)…
When I visited Tommy for Valentine’s Day in Arizona at the very beginning of our relationship, and we went on our first hike climbing a mountain at ASU!
When we went to our first wedding together, and discovered that we like to match because we’re a team, and that we LOVE dancing together at weddings!
Even/especially if we’re the only two on the floor! Now I wonder and worry – are we going to even talk to people at our own wedding, or will we dance the whole time? Hopefully our friends and family all join us on the floor! š
You know it’s love when your boyfriend (and a couple of your best friends) volunteer to walk 60 miles with you!
Then, fast forward to when we moved to California together…
And when Tommy proposed!

There will of course be a whole lifetime of memories together, and I can’t wait to share them with you, but more importantly with Tommy! It was unbelievable how difficult it was to put almost seven years of memories together into one blog. This thing could go on forever!
