#TransformationTuesday: My Haircut with Cristophe!

Lately, I have been wanting to model more… I am not sure why, nor am I sure why I really ever stopped in the first place. I think that I had a bit of a slump in my confidence, which I am getting over (you’ll learn more about that shortly). Anyway, I decided shortly before my birthday that it was time to start applying for modeling gigs again! 

One that I applied for was to be a model for a haircut with Cristophe. If you aren’t familiar, he is a celebrity hairstylist, meaning that not only does he do celebrities’ hair, but that he is also a celebrity in his own right, especially in the hair community. 

He has been so successful for so long, that he even was mentioned as a fancy hair stylist in the ridiculous (and amazing) movie Troop Beverly Hills, from 1989. 

So, almost 30 years ago, it was totally brag-worthy to get your hair done by Cristophe, who has since worked on US Presidents and doled out makeovers on America’s Next Top Model, and now I get the opportunity to work with him? Yes, please! 

Cristophe was absolutely wonderful. He was so nice and made sure I was at ease, while we chatted a bit about my life, how much time (almost none) I usually spend on my hair, and so on, to figure out what he was going to do. 

I could tell as we chatted that he was looking at my face and angles and deciding what would be the best look for me… Kind of like he was doing calculations and the geometry of my face and hair in his head!

I had mentally prepared to do absolutely anything that he suggested, even if he wanted to shave my head, because I trusted him as an expert. I am usually not so brave! 

As you can tell, we had a lot of fun, too!

He had two different haircuts in mind for me, and went the slightly more conservative route because I mentioned wanting to feel sexy. He said I can come back whenever I want and get the shorter and edgier cut. We shall see! I’d love to, but am not sure I can handle his prices – but that is new motivation for me to work hard – to be able to easily afford seeing Cristophe!

I absolutely LOVE the cut and style he did. He even changed my part to the other side! 

I have been feeling absolutely STUNNING since my haircut with Cristophe! It was just what I needed to restore my confidence, and now I am definitely ready to do more modeling – so stay tuned for more of that! 

It’s funny, because even since this haircut, I have gotten more attention from men than I usually do, and I think SOME of it is the haircut, but more of it is the confidence! As Coco Chanel said, “A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life!” and I think that is definitely the case with my haircut with Cristophe! It may seem silly, but I feel renewed and reinvigorated, as I mentioned in this post!

💜💥🔥When was the last time something small had a big impact for you? 💜 For me, it was today, and it was a haircut! I had been feeling a little low in the confidence department… I had a little spark of bravery/boldness and decided to get back to modeling more (I used to do a lot), and applied for a few gigs. I was honored to be selected to be a haircut model for Cristophe! Just being selected gave me a boost! But I ALSO now feel incredible with this fabulous hair, so I have a feeling that it’s a spark that’ll light a mighty flame… not just modeling, though I want to keep doing more, but with all of my goals!
