I wrote the following paragraph back in April, before MandieBrice.com went live, and never posted it: I have been slacking on posting on here, primarily because I am trying to build MandieBrice.com, so I have been completely neglecting MandieM.com – but I just realized I should probably just do an update here to keep the time until I’m able to completely switch over! I started thinking about doing a “What I’ve been up to” post once I do the new site, and it’s going to be SO LONG, so I thought I’d perhaps break it down into smaller pieces here, starting with the fact that I was a podcast guest again on the Sisterhood of Sweat! It’s funny – part of the reason I wanted to be back on was to promote my new website, and now I am back on and not ready!
I’m STILL not really ready, but hey – will I ever be?
There are quite a few tweaks that need to be done to my site, including getting the images from my previous blogs to show up, making sure all of the links from the older bl0gs work, and re-working the structure of some things.
I also need to re-organize a few things, so I am still a ways away from feeling like I am ready, but before I do 469850953 things to list here, I figured I should post an update!
The main things I should share so far are a few TV appearances, and a podcast appearance!
The first TV appearance was for the Steve Harvey show (again) where I was in a fashion show!
The next one was filmed even before that, and was an episode of a cake boss battle show on Food Network, which you can see here, as long as you don’t blink!
Next, I should probably share my longer segment on Face The Truth, Vivica A Fox’s daytime talk show. It will give you a bit of insight on the direction I’m looking to go in my career!
And last, but not least, and definitely longest, I was welcomed back on to Linda Mitchell’s podcast, Sisterhood of Sweat!
To give some background, Linda Mitchell and I met the first time we went to Blogfest, which is where I decided to start my podcast!
Then she was a guest on my podcast, then decided to do her own! I have now been on it twice, and am so proud of her for achieving the honor of being in the top 200 podcasts on iTunes! Here are my first and second times on her show!
You can also listen here:
I believe that’s episode #3 and episode #124, and I think it’s cute that I am on there with my maiden name first and then married name twice!
If you’re curious and want to check out when the shoe was on the other foot, here’s a link to Linda on my show!
This image above is from when I was talking about my online makeup course!
She is such a go-getter! When we were at Blogfest the second time, she took control of my camera and did a facebook live with us and Elaine Lalanne, and then asked her to be on her podcast – she agreed! That tenacity and boldness is both part of what makes her a great podcast guest for Bold Moves, as well as what makes her in the top 200 podcasts on iTunes – she goes after what she wants!
