I’ve read that instead of creating a list of New Year’s Resolutions that it’s a wiser choice to pick a word or theme that is going to shape your year.
This year, for me, my word/theme is “Consistency.” I am not really trying to bring many NEW things into my life’s equation, but rather trying to do the things that I was doing in 2014 more consistently, because as they say – consistency is the key to results!
I can’t help but bring Shaq into this, as I am a huge Shaquille O’Neal fan.
He has a lot of really ridiculous quotes attributed to him, but some of them are less ridiculous, and one of them, I believe, is not really his. It is also credited to Aristotle, and I am inclined to believe that Phil Jackson read Aristotle, said it to Shaq, and then Shaq decided it would be his quote…
I mean, obviously. Of course he would like to be referred to as “The Big Aristotle.” By the way, I must say that I think it is completely absurd that someone made this graphic, but I guess it came in handy in this blog post, so I am not going to complain!
Anyway, the quote in question is this:
Whether it was Shaq, Aristotle, or they both had the same great idea, I think it’s obvious that they were on to something! If you eat clean and work out consistently, you will be fitter. If you read every day, you will be smarter. If you work on a business or project every day, you will see the success you’re seeking.

With this in mind, I felt compelled to make the most recent episode of Mandie.tv about how to make creating a habit just a little easier. And if you’re like me and love to check things off of lists (Oh, what a feeling of accomplishment!), then you’ll love the documents I’ve provided!
Here’s the episode. Please take a few minutes of time to watch it!
Here’s that weekly rhythm register from Darren Hardy.
I hope this helps! Please leave a note in the comments with what resolutions you have or any habits you’re working to create, and we’ll see if I can help you come up with ways to make them easier! =)
xoxo,
Mandie
