Last July, I was blessed to take an awesome trip up to the Apostle Islands to do hair and makeup on a shoot for a couple days. It was a lovely experience all around!

On the way home from the gym today, I spotted a billboard with my work on it in the wild on I-43S, so I did some digging and found some of my work, now that it’s released. Enjoy!

I hope that Charlo never stops feeling like he’s

I hope that Charlo never stops feeling like he’s super power, with or without the cape.

And I hope you realize that you have super powers, too. Especially to my lady friends on International Women’s Day.

I also hope to raise this little guy to treat women like the superheroes they are. 💜

I hope I can be an example for him of a strong woman and that I make him proud, and that I embody and spread more and more of the confidence and joy he’s sharing here.

To strong women: May we be them, know them, and raise them! 💜

I wanted to take a moment to express some major gratitude!

Recently, I started doing some volunteer yoga teaching at a transitional housing facility for young mothers. These women (ages 18-24) and their children can live in apartments at the facility for up to two years while learning life skills (cooking, nutrition, job skills, etc).

Because many of them had never done yoga, I knew they wouldn’t have supplies. I decided to reach out to a bunch of companies for donations, and am overwhelmed with gratitude for what they provided!

So, thank you to @gaiam for yoga mats, @huggermuggeryoga for straps and blocks, @campobeauty for essential oils and a diffuser, @rebel_green for yoga mat spray and hand sanitizer, and @koss for Bluetooth speaker!

I also want to thank @wisconsinathleticclub, @peacetreeyogastudio, and @yogafitinc for getting my journey as a yoga teacher started, and Yoga Fit for the inspiration for volunteering my time to share yoga with some ladies who may not otherwise get the experience. Seeing changes in how they feel physically and mentally has already been so rewarding, and I hope they only grow and last!

Finally, I can’t thank my family and friends enough for encouraging me and for making going to these trainings & volunteering my time possible (especially for watching our little guy). I’ve been practicing yoga since watching it on PBS about 30 years ago, and I’m loving this time of learning and sharing with others.

This past Tuesday, our book club met… the result

This past Tuesday, our book club met… the results of which are still bringing me joy days later. Since many of you seemed really entertained by this in my stories (and to make me laugh on future cloudy days), I had to make a reel. Do I regret wearing a beret to book club in October? Happy New Year! Wow! 2023 was… more than I expec

Happy New Year! Wow! 2023 was… more than I expected, mostly in good ways! It was our first full year back in Milwaukee, and it has been lovely being back close to family & friends - that is a definite highlight!

In 2024, I have some big dreams for myself and hope to stop holding myself back from what I really want.

Had such a great time at the Tosa Holiday Market l

Had such a great time at the Tosa Holiday Market last night! We met Santa (a success!), had a delicious raclette sandwich (I’m still dreaming about it), a pretzel, some cider, hot chocolate, and mulled wine, and enjoyed some live music and a little shopping. I strongly recommend going if you haven’t checked it out yet! Any holiday activities you recommend in SE Wisconsin or NYC?
