Book Club in a Box: Confident as Fu*k by Elle Russ

You may or may not know this, but I host an online personal development group. Our main purpose is to read books together (and this month, it’s Eloquent Rage by Brittney Cooper), but we also do other things and share knowledge and all manner of being better with each other. I’ve decided that I want to share more of what we’re doing with people who are either not into facebook (where the group is primarily hosted), or who are “late to the dance” and missed a book that they wanted to read. I figure I can share the video for the discussion (at the end of the reading), to see if anyone wants to join in! So, here’s our Book Club in a Box: Confident as Fu*k by Elle Russ!

Previously, the most recent discussion was the 30-Day Money Cleanse, with past podcast guest, Ashley Feinstein-Gerstley. I did not have the idea to make an evergreen set of items for anyone at that point.

When we were in the midst of our chat with Elle, for Book Club in a Box: Confident as Fu*k by Elle Russ, I actually had to stop the conversation and ask everyone for permission to record, because I thought it was worth sharing the amazing stuff Elle was saying, and the great questions our amazing group members were asking!

Now, moving forward, I plan to share this every time we do the discussion, although I should say that I can’t guarantee we’ll always have the author to chat with! My fingers are crossed, though!

Throughout the course of our discussion of the book, we also had checkpoints at the end of each week, where I asked questions in our facebook group, and we discussed on our own time. You can find those questions at this link for free download, which also puts you on my email list and keeps you informed about future book clubs (and other stuff) all of which I hope you join!

This month, as I mentioned, we are reading Eloquent Rage by Brittney Cooper, in honor of both Black History Month and Women’s History Month, and I would love for you to join us with that, too! Or just stay tuned for more podcasts, book clubs, and opportunities to grow together as people!
