101-page ebook with images, links, and many resources teaching basic makeup skills and practical makeup looks to beginners.
Want to brush up on your basic makeup skills?
This 101-page ebook is the written out version of my online makeup course that teaches basic makeup skills, and is complete with tons of updates!
In it, I share makeup safety and hygiene, as well as practical looks (a 5-minute makeup look, a day-to-day makeup look, and an evening makeup/date night makeup look) as well as tips for makeup for photography, covering acne, and applying false lashes.
It also includes my philosophy on makeup, information on clean beauty, sustainability tips, and information about how to safely make purchases on Amazon. Did you know that some makeup purchases on Amazon aren’t safe? It’s true!
I also share product recommendations, a robust glossary of makeup terminology, a guide to makeup brushes, and more! There’s also a private facebook group for those who have purchased the course, or the ebook, where you can get up-to-date tips, news, product recommendations, and even feedback on your looks that you practice!
The book breaks down different formulas of makeup, and how to choose which one is best, and goes into art concepts like color theory and undertones to help you pick the perfect shade of foundation or complexion makeup (as well as the different alternatives to foundation).
There’s also a brief guide to skincare, if you’ve never learned best practices for that!
In case you’re wondering what qualifies me to teach makeup… I am a former teacher (and have almost completed my Master’s in Education, pending a final project), and I’m a professional makeup artist with nearly two decades of experience that includes working with celebrities! You can see my portfolio and resume here, and my makeup instagram here!
I created this course and ebook because I have met so many people who don’t feel comfortable going into stores like Sephora, and end up in high pressure situations where they end up buying products that they don’t know how to use later.
I want people to feel empowered with the knowledge to look their best, because I believe that if you look better and feel better, you do everything else better too (and that’s the inspiration for my facebook page)!
Studies have shown that women who wear makeup make between $4,000-6,000 more than their makeup-wearing counterparts . per year, and perform better on tests. My hope is that these skills help you do better and earn more!
