Perricone MD Ultra-Lightweight Calming SPF 35 Veil Review

Hello! I recently have the good portion of being sent some sunscreen to try and would love to share my thoughts on it! Read on for my Perricone MD Ultra-Lightweight Calming SPF 35 Veil Review.

I moved to Arizona in December, and it is definitely a sunny place to live for the most part. For this reason, I am grateful for an additional type of sunscreen that I can use. This is a broad spectrum mineral sunscreen, and has 420mg of cannibidiol (CBD), which is supposed to be great for the skin.

Lately, I had been using this sunscreen from Image*. The thing I like about this stuff is that it allegedly protects my skin from the light that the devices we use so much emits. However, what I absolutely do not like about this product is the way it feels, and its consistency.

I find that it always gunked up on the tube, it’s hard to get out of the tube, and I have to really rub it in to my face so I don’t have white streaks.

This stuff from Dr. Perricone is so much better, because I can quickly slather it on at the door, and I’m not worried about having white streaks or a greasy face. I absolutely love the way it feels. If you can imagine the feeling of velvet, but somehow not heavy, that is what it feels like! It claims that it is calming to the skin, but my skin is generally pretty calm and happy, so I haven’t noticed any of its power in that way, but would love to hear from someone else who has tried it about that.

Another thing I like about this product, is it is just the sunscreen. I feel like a lot of products are “two in one,” which is great if you don’t have a moisturizer you love already, but harder if you love your moisturizer, and don’t want to have to not use it because you need sunscreen.

I already love my skin care regimen, but it doesn’t have an SPF in it, so this is the perfect addition to that!

All in all, I am a big fan of the sunscreen, and will definitely be purchasing it when I run out, because this was given to me to test. Even though I received it for free, these opinions are my own. In fact, I was only asked to do an Instagram post, but like the product so much that I’m going above and beyond and writing a blog and sharing to my other social media accounts as well.
