A couple things you may not know about me are that I have a few mental health diagnoses (depression, generalized anxiety disorder, C-PTSD), which I believe contribute to the fact that when the evil and sadness in the world rear their ugly heads, it often shuts me down for a little while. For that reason, the recent upticks again in gun violence/mass shootings, racially motivated hate crimes, and reminders of police brutality really caused a lot of distress and sadness lately. I’m sure the pregnancy hormones (LINK) didn’t help! I’ve almost finished writing my next book, Happiness Habits, and thought it would be great to have a go-to playlist to accompany it, because music can have such a huge impact on my mood, and I know I’m not alone in this! So I crowdsourced my Facebook and Instagram families to bring you Happiness Habits Playlist: a Playlist of Songs to Make You Happy!
A while back, I made a couple other playlists on Spotify, and I really like having them at my disposal. One was a Curated Confidence playlist for when you need a little boost to feel more empowered, and the other is songs to help me heal my mindset around money, which is definitely a work in progress for me!
I figured that a playlist of songs to make you happy would be helpful for lots of people, so I had to add it as another option, and I love the idea of it being a companion to my upcoming book!
