So sorry that all I’ve been giving lately has been updates! As I’m sure you’ve noticed, I moved to Sacramento, and have been navigating boxes and putting my podcast on hold in the meantime! My most recent update is here, a second one is here, and the one before that can be found here (which includes some fun Buzzfeed videos I was in)! Now, I have a makeup portfolio update, which is extra fun, because I know there’s going to be another one coming soon! One of the parts of my professions that can be both the best and the worst parts is that often I do something, and then it comes out weeks or months later… It stinks when you’re excited about it and impatient to see the final outcome, but can definitely brighten up a rough day when you suddenly get pics from a shoot you loved doing, or head to a local drugstore and find your work and name in People Magazine… Again!
My first time in People was when I still lived in Milwaukee, and was for a Teacher of the Year feature.
The second time was when I lived in NorCal, and was for an article on survivors of the Jim Jones Massacre.
The third time happened while I lived in LA, and was the most fun, because there were dogs – it was a shoot for a woman who started a dog rescue training program (training dogs to rescue people in crisis situations) using rescue dogs! How amazing is that?
This fourth time was another difficult subject matter like the second one, but didn’t really feel that way on set as much – Hanna Olivas is terminally ill, and is championing for her right to die on her terms.

In addition to that, I did a really fun shoot right before I left LA with a beautiful model and amazing photographer. I love doing beauty shots, and am excited to do more with Hannah C when I go back next month! ModelĀ is Cenie F!Ā

Oh, and the only other thing would be that one of my current projects is turning my makeup course into an ebook. When I’m done, I am going to increase the price of the course, so make sure you snag it while it’s still this low price if you’ve been thinking of buying it!
