When I wrote my book 2020 Vision, it was originally intended to be a course. I had already created one course about basic makeup artistry tips for the average person, but since I am significantly more passionate about personal development than makeup, the desire to help people achieve their goals lingered. I rushed to get my book out before 2020 began, which meant I didn’t have many opportunities to promote it. Fast forward to today… We are midway through AUGUST. To say that 2020 has been a blur of craziness is an understatement for many. While there are a lot of varying opinions on New Year’s Resolutions (and here’s mine), one common criticism of them is that many people don’t stick to them anyway.
To quote my grandpa, “It’s not over ’til it’s over!” It’s not too late to end 2020 on a positive note and on track to reach your goals – whatever they are.
I want to counter a year with a lot of unexpected plot twists that could throw off even the most dedicated person’s resolutions, and build a foundation to start 2021 on a positive note, I’ve decided that I am going to create the mini-course I wanted to do long ago… And I’m going to do it live!
Eventually, I will edit it into a course that you can do independently and self-paced, but the first round will be live, and I would love your feedback! So click here if you’re interested in looking in your rear view at 2020 with a smile and looking forward to 2021 with some momentum started!
I recommend the book as a companion (and it’s available here as a PDF, as well as on Amazon for Kindle, and Apple Books), as well as my favorite planner – the 90X Goal Planner* (which I loved so much that I had the creator on my podcast). These are not necessary, however, and you can use whatever planner you want and without the book!
We will start on Wednesday, August 19th at 4:30PST by evaluating your life as it stands, and with some reflection.
Then, (on Thursday, August 20th at 4:30 PST) we will look at some specific goal-setting strategies to make sure that the goals you set are directly in line with what you want your life to be like. This will include refining goals you may already have, to make sure that you don’t make effort toward something that doesn’t suit your ideal life!
Finally, (on Friday, August 21st at 4:30PST) we’ll reverse-engineer your goals so that you have a strategy to keep you on-track to achieving the life of your dreams!
There will also be a bonus “vino & vision boards” party session on Saturday the 22nd where I share a few different vision boarding resources I’ve discovered over time!
So, how does that sound? Are you ready to salvage what’s left of 2020 so it serves you well and helps create momentum for you to take into 2021?
Can’t wait to achieve big things in this last part of 2020!
xoxo,
Mandie
